We are located in lovely HILLSBOROUGH, NC. We have been breeding chickens here on our 30 acre farm for more than10 years now. We are constantly improving our breeding flocks (breeding to the SOP for each breed) in an effort to produce the most beautiful, friendly, healthy chickens possible. Our focus is on quality, not quantity.
We have chosen breeds that get along well in mixed flocks, and give variety in both egg color, and feather color. We have had many other breeds, but have kept only those breeds that seem to outshine the others.
We are very particular about our roosters, only keeping the most beautiful/correct grow outs, with the most gentle dispositions. We do not keep/breed any rooster that has shown aggression to us, our grandchildren, or their hens. Aggression in roosters typically passes to their offspring, and no one should have to deal with a nasty rooster.
